A note from Edward Stone regarding his philosophy on the
practice of family law:
"Your children, your home, your retirement savings
may all hang in the balance. It's serious business, and
you can't trust your life's work to just any attorney.
You need a person to be your voice, your protector, your
advocate in the courtroom.
Divorces and child custody matters are intensely personal
and private. You are not just another client in my firm.
I limit the number of divorce cases I accept so that each
client receives my personal attention. Each case is unique,
yet the feelings of overwhelming stress and anxiety for
the client are universal. The last worry a client should
have is whether their attorney has enough time to spend
on their case.
I am dedicated to protecting the best interests of children,
ensuring that non-custodial parents enjoy their visitation
and that they pay a fair amount of child support. I am
a supporter of alimony when the circumstances are justified.
I will protect those who are the victims of domestic assault,
and relentlessly seek prosecution of those who fabricate
domestic violence claims.
I believe that fathers can be effective primary physical
custodians of their children.
I am available at times of emergency and I know from experience
that emergencies often do not happen during normal business
hours.
E-mail me for an initial consult. I look forward to hearing
from you."
