PROFILE
Edward J. Stone received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the
University of Michigan- Ann Arbor.
He went on to receive a Masters degree from the
prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications,
and earned his law degree from Syracuse University College
of Law.
He is licensed to practice law in the State of Utah and
the State of Maryland.
Mr. Stone practices complex family law. His experience
includes extensive child custody litigation and equitable
distribution of complex marital estates. He authored a
brief in a family law case heard in the highest court in
Maryland. That case involved a hotly disputed legal topic;
the proper application of jurisdictional sections of the
Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA) as they apply
to child custody, visitation, and support. Mr. Stone
represents clients on domestic matters in Salt Lake, Summit,
Wasatch, and surrounding counties.
